Buckeye Game
While in Salt Lake City...the #1 Buckeyes had a HUGE game with Wisconsin. Sissy & I dressed the 3 little girls (along with ourselves) in our Buckeye Best. Emma taught Sophie some cheerleading moves, yelling "Go Buckeyes." Sissy took the 3 little girls outside to release some energy...so Sissy & I could watch the big game. However the Buckeyes went down in defeat.
Gardner's Village
Sissy & I felt daring...and took the little girls to Gardner's Village. Gardner's Village has our favorite Christmas Store...plus they do this big production for Halloween. While Abby worked on a bottle...Sophie & Emma worked on a pumpkin cookie. Sophie really only needed the icing, no cookie was eaten. Take a look at Sophie's face. Also, Emma decided to have her face painted.

Emma's 9th Birthday
Emma's 9th Birthday was spent flying across the country from Columbus to Salt Lake City. Sissy had found a hat for Emma to wear...to let everyone know it was her BIRTHDAY! The hat totally worked!! And as you can imagine the day was totally focused on EMMA! Emma choose what she wanted for breakfast - Dr. Pepper & a Rice Krispie Treat. Emma choose who she sat by on the plane...one flight she sat by Sissy and the next flight she sat between her Mom & Sissy. On the 2nd flight - the flight attendant announced to everyone it was Emma's 9th Birthday. A different flight attendant brought Emma a cup full of M&M's & Jelly Belly's. As we left the 2nd plane (in Salt Lake City) the pilot asked "Emma does your mom have her camera?" Emma said "she always does!" The pilot let Emma sit in the cockpit...she was so excited!
